A Seattle company is developing a marijuana patch for your pet as an alternative method of pain management
Quoth the patch developer:

I’d much rather they were on something holistic as opposed to something chemical that I know is breaking down some of the organs in their body.
Using marijuana as a painkiller is controversial in some circles, with some anti-pot crusaders going so far as to label it a dangerous "gateway" drug, inevitably leading to the abuse of harder substances. But there are a lot of humans who swear by its power as an analgesic. No word on the patch's effectiveness for pets yet, though we're pretty sure they're going to love it.
