So if screening is designed to prevent, among other things, impulse buying/adopting, what happens to the people who fail the impulse urge test? How in life do they find out that impulse-anything is unwise? Does failing the impulse hurdle for animal adoption mean that they wind up learning the impulse/unwise principle in other areas? Impulse marriage? Impulse pyramid scheme? Impulse drag racing?

Animal associations help humans in myriad says, and they CAN save some people from disastrous divorce decrees, Ponzi Armageddon and even traffic tickets or blown headgaskets.....give the agony and ecstasy of impulse - and adoption - a chance!
